Acoustic & Electric Guitar/Owner
A prolific composer, Alan is always writing unique melodies with interesting chord arrangements. Detroit Blues/Rock raised flavored by years in the western United States and Hawaii have inspired many musical compositions favoring grooves with inspirational melodies. As a young guitarist Alan played with some of Detroit’s most influential recording artists who encouraged original musical composition as a form of self expression.
Alan developed as an electric guitarist, however, a chance encounter with noted British guitarist John Renbourn of Pentangle led to several late night jam sessions which sparked a change in musical direction and a true appreciation for the acoustic instrument. Moving west, Alan played the Colorado ski resort circuit during winter months while working summers as a landscape designer and certified arborist, developing parks and botanical gardens in both Colorado and Hawaii. This combination of music and nature is readily apparent in his songs. Alan currently resides in both Colorado and Hawaii.
Lynn has spent the last 20 years or so, as a Maui transplant, (coming from a long career in Minneapolis) with his main studio having been Maui Recording: George Benson’s Historic Lahaina Sound.
He has been Mick Fleetwood’s personal engineer for many years, both in several studio projects, and FOH/PM for his blues band with Rick Vito.
Along the way he’s recorded, mixed, produced, mixed live shows for, or something else, with: Willie Nelson, The Doobie Brothers, Melody Gardot, Willie K, Steven Tyler, Sam Ahia, The Hoopsnakes, Billy Thorpe, Wayne Dyer, Sammy Hagar, Niel Finn, Fleetwood Mac, and countless others…with a couple of those being Grammy nominated records. Unknown to most, he’s also a drummer, singer and songwriter. Besides relocating his studio to Telluride, and being a true gear connoisseur, he’s now expanding his wardrobe to include long pants, flannel shirts, and a down filled coat… with a hood! He might even get some mittens!

Billy Peterson is one of the premier, most celebrated bass players in the world. His uncompromising talents as a performer have brought him widespread recognition, as well as his plenty credits as a composer, arranger and producer. So it is no surprise that the world-renowned bassist is quite often also compared with a chameleon, but not only as he can fill many positions, but also as he is at home in several genres of music weather it be rock, pop, R&B, soul, jazz, folk or country.
Peterson´s contributions to the music scene are inestimable and his imagination and boundless enthusiasm behind the bass are singular and stunning. During his extensive musical career, the permanently in-demand bassist has worked with many internationally famous, acclaimed artists, among them Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Prince, Les Paul or Steve Miller, just to name a few.
Born in January of 1950, Scott’s early years were spent in a bassinet under his Mother’s Steinway Grand piano – the birth place of his life long love of percussion. He started my first garage band in 1963 and began touring the North East in 1966. He played my way through the Vietnam Era in Military clubs, when he wasn’t on duty, and spent the early 70’s living on a communal farm in Iowa where he played with several bands in the mid-west until he split for Europe in the mid 70’s.
In 2005 he came to Telluride, Colorado to work on “Restore Our World” an album with Alan Bradbury. In December of 2006 he moved to the Mesa, which is now the home of the Music Gardens. He spent most of the next 10 years in the Telluride area where I was the Program Director for the Wilkinson Public Library and later the Palm Theater.
Today he is living a life filled with gratitude, here at the Music Gardens, working on two albums with Alan (soon to be released), managing the “Studio in the Clouds”, touring with Scott Cossu & the Sliderz and engaging with some of the best people on the planet….
